VJQ AppearancesVJQ, the Vocal Jazz Quartet will be special guests of the world famous Repasz Band, in a concert on Sunday evening, June 27, 2010, 7 o'clock, at the Brandon Park bandshell in Williamsport, PA. The quartet will sing a trio of Gershwin tunes, with other arrangements as well. The concert is open to the public. So...bring along a lawn chair! This same program will be performed again on Sunday, July 4th, at the gazebo in the park at Eagles Mere, PA -- Time: 5:00PM Speaking of Eagles Mere, PA, VJQ will be performing an entire concert of their best arrangements on Saturday evening, August 7, at the David A. DeWire Center, in Eagles Mere. Watch for more info a little later, please! VJQ had a great Valentine's Day concert Friday evening, February 12, at CTL here in Williamsport. The audience was fantastic and very much into live jazz. We performed some of our best tunes, from L-O-V-E to In the Wee Small Hours; from Boy from NYC to Every Time We Say Goodbye. A definite highlight of the evening was Craig's Roller Derby Queen, done in his own inimitable way. Our thanks to the VJQ band, Melinda, Matt, Bob, Tim, and Rob. You're the best! Finally, to the guy who makes us all sound great...CTL technician Ed Richards. We had quite a team, on and offstage, for this one! Too much fun!
